Caner Erkin is a Turkish professional footballer who primarily plays as a left-back or defensive midfielder. He was born on October 4, 1988 in Balıkesir, Turkey.
Erkin began his professional career with Manisaspor in 2006, before moving to CSKA Moscow in 2011. He then went on to play for Fenerbahçe, Inter Milan, and Beşiktaş.
Erkin has also been a regular member of the Turkish national team, representing his country in international tournaments such as the UEFA European Championship.
